Rohit Pawar

Rohit Pawar is an Indian politician and a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Maharashtra. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Masters’s degree in Business Administration. Before entering politics, he was involved in business ventures in the agriculture, hospitality, and education sectors.

Pawar contested the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election from the Karjat Jamkhed constituency as a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate in 2014 and won the election. He has since been re-elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2019. As an MLA, he has been actively involved in various developmental initiatives in his constituency.

Pawar has been appointed as the Deputy Leader of the NCP in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He is a member of various committees such as the Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, the Committee on Estimates, and the Committee on Public Undertakings. He has worked towards the improvement of the healthcare infrastructure, education system, and transportation facilities in his region.

Apart from his political career, Pawar is also involved in social work and has supported various initiatives for the welfare of the underprivileged sections of society.
