Tejashwi Prasad Yadav (born 9 November 1989) is an Indian politician, who serves as the leader of opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, notably the youngest leader of opposition in the country. He also leads the Rashtriya Janata Dal, the single largest political party in the state of Bihar, India. As a professional cricketer, he was in the Delhi Daredevils and the Jharkhand cricket team. In 2015, he was elected as the representative of the Raghopur constituency and served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar between 2015 and 2017. He is also noted to have been the youngest Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. Yadav was featured in the Indian Express’ 100 Most Powerful Indians in 2020 and 2021.
