Supriya Shrinate

Supriya Shrinate is an Indian journalist and politician who currently serves as the National Spokesperson for the Indian National Congress. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University.

Before joining politics, Shrinate worked as a journalist for over a decade. She has worked with several renowned media organizations such as NDTV, ET Now, and NewsX. During her career, she has covered a wide range of issues including politics, economy, and corporate affairs. She has also moderated several high-profile debates and interviews.

In 2019, Shrinate joined the Indian National Congress and contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Maharajganj constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Although she was defeated in the elections, she was appointed as the National Spokesperson for the party soon after. Since then, she has been actively participating in debates and discussions on various national issues and has been representing the party in several forums.
