Prabhu is a Board consultant, Founder and Publisher of Salt Desert Media Group Limited, Founder and Managing Director of Global Resilience Publishing, Publisher of Pippa Rann Books and a Senior Fellow of The Trinity Forum in Washington DC.
In 2019, Prabhu established a British publishing company. Salt Desert Media Group Ltd, which has two legs – the 1st leg is anything and everything to do with India, and the 2nd leg is solutions to Global Challenges. He has over decades been helping the Boards of international companies – including, for 15 years, what was then the largest bank in the world.
He was the Executive Director, Organisational Development for Wolfsberg — the Platform for Executive and Business Development. Wolfsberg is a wholly owned subsidiary of UBS in Switzerland.
He specialises in exploring the relationship and effects which technology has on societies around the world, and is responsible for the Wolfsberg Think Tanks dealing with a wide variety of market and global issues.
He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
He also has consulted with such organizations as Akzo Nobel, Barclays Bank, Kraft Jakob Suchard, Nokia, Novo Nordisk, Singapore Institute of Management, UNCTAD, and Valeo.
In addition, he regularly organises, chairs, and lectures at international conferences. He left India under The Emergency under Indira Gandhi.
