Kartikeya Sharma is a media baron and politician from Haryana, India. He was born on 14 May 1981 to Venod Sharma, a politician, and Shakti Rani Sharma. He completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from Kings College London before launching ITV Media in 2007. The media network has several news channels, including National, English, Hindi, and 7 regional channels, along with print newspapers such as The Sunday Guardian newspaper, Daily Guardian, and Aaj Samaj. Sharma is also the owner of Picaadily Hotels, which, along with Hyatt, owns several properties in Delhi and parts of Haryana and Punjab. In 2015, he founded Pro Sportify with Ashish Chadha, CEO of Sporty Solutionz, a company that runs the Pro Wrestling League.
In 2022, Kartikeya Sharma won the Rajya Sabha elections, defeating Indian National Congress heavyweight Ajay Maken. He is also a member of a parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha Sh. Harivansh Ji. Sharma has been honored with the Person Of The Year Award, and he recently attended the Shri Parshuram Mahakumbh organized in Karnal.
