Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before booking with any events (the “Service”) operated by Bridge India Think Tank (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Bridge India Think Tank Ltd is a company limited by guarantee Companies House number 15283062, and owns the registered trade mark “Bridge India” number UK00003980082. No use of this trade mark is allowed without explicit written email permission by the trade mark holder and may be subject to a formal license agreement.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Purchases
You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with your rights contained within the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete. You expressly agree that Bridge India is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the submission of false or inaccurate information.
By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.
Cancellation, Transfer & Refund policy
All requests for cancellations and/or transfers must be received in writing.
Tickets are transferable until 15 calendar days prior to the event. An admin fee may be charged.
Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received by the client.
The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking (excluding any card processing fees and/or booking fees previously applied), as shown below:
More than 60 calendar days: full refund | Between 45 and 60 calendar days (inclusive): 50% refund | Between 15 and 45 calendar days (inclusive): 25% refund | 14 days prior to event or failure to attend: No refund
For Memberships, the following charges will instead apply:
Within 14 days of purchasing membership: full refund | Between 15 and 180 calendar days (inclusive): 20% refund | More than 180 days: No refund
Right to Admission
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse any person admission to the event and the right to remove any person acting in breach of these Terms.
By attending our event, you agree to adhere to the following content standards. You must comply with the spirit of the following standards as well as the letter. The standards apply to each part of any contribution you make to the event as well as to its whole.
We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of these standards. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
Contributions must:
- Be accurate (where they state facts);
- Be genuinely held (where they state opinions); and
- Comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted.
Contributions must not:
- Contain any material which is defamatory of any person;
- Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
- Promote sexually explicit material;
- Promote violence;
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
- Infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person;
- Be likely to deceive any person;
- Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
- Promote any illegal activity;
- Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
- Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
- Give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case;
- Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.
Delivery policy
Once purchase is completed, an e-ticket will be issued on the name of each registered client, which must be used for admission and badge collection on the day of the event.
Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies
We are constantly updating our offerings of products and services on the Service. The products or services available on our Service may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and we may experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our advertising on other web sites. You expressly agree that any such offer of a product or service does not constitute a legal offer capable of attracting legal consequences.
We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice. This is without prejudice to existing statutory rights.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Bridge India and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Bridge India .
Photography and Videography
By attending Bridge India events you consent that photos and video footage of you attending the event may be used by Bridge India for its event marketing materials.
Links To Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Bridge India .
Bridge India has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Bridge India shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
