The current wave of Covid-19 is devastating India. Recent mass gatherings, more contagious variants and a lack of adequate healthcare infrastructure have combined to create the perfect storm.
People are dying because there is a lack of oxygen, hospital beds, doctors and basic medical supplies in major urban centres. In rural areas, away from the media gaze, the situation is even worse.
Bridge India is working with ground level organisations in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Patna and elsewhere to help where we can.

Our first four oxygen concentrators have reached Delhi earlier this week. We’re fundraising for more oxygen concentrators, refillable oxygen cylinders, other hospital supplies and general humanitarian relief. We’re responding to their needs and able to be agile to divert resources to where immediate assistance is urgently needed.
All the medical facilities and partners we support are ones we have personally vetted, through the Bridge India or Members. So you can be safe in the knowledge that your donation is tracked to the last-mile.
