UK-India CETA roundtable

September 3, 2025 | 17:00 - 19:00
  • University of Westminster, 309 Regent Street, London W1B 2HW

About

The UK’s biggest trade deal agreed post-Brexit is with India. Prime Minister Modi formally signed the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) on 24 July with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

The deal is forecasted to increase UK GDP by £4.8 billion and UK wages by £2.2 billion annually in the long run. Bilateral trade is forecast to go up £25.5 billion annually in the long run, £15.7 billion of which is expected to be from rising exports from UK businesses into India.

Bridge India is delighted to be hosting a roundtable to a closed-door roundtable exploring what this will mean for businesses in both countries.

The event will be under Chatham House rule and kindly hosted by the University of Westminster.
