Bridge India, in collaboration with The Heath Robinson Museum, presents a conversation between two Bridge India Members: publisher and business leader Prabhu Guptara and business leader, philanthropist and SHEIN ESG Board Member Ram Gidoomal CBE.
Step into a kaleidoscope of colour, culture, and conversation at Silk Sarees, Street Food, and the British Dream. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Ketna Patel’s pop art exhibition, Remixology, this event weaves together the threads of migration, identity, and reinvention. Ketna’s bold, multicultural artwork sets the perfect stage for an afternoon of stories that explore resilience and transformation within the British Indian diaspora.
At the heart of this dialogue is Ram Gidoomal CBE, author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, whose extraordinary journey spans continents and generations. From a privileged childhood in Mombasa, through the upheaval of Partition and forced migration, to rebuilding a life of purpose and generosity in the UK, Ram’s story is one of reinvention, grit, and grace.
Joining him is Prabhu Guptara, a celebrated writer and founder of Pippa Rann Books and Media, whose work champions the richness of Indian heritage and its global connections. Together, they’ll explore how life’s challenges can become springboards for creativity, connection, and transformation.
This is not just a conversation – it’s an immersive experience of art, identity, and inspiration. Don’t miss this unique fusion of storytelling and visual celebration, where every layer invites you to reflect on your own journey.
