About

The Khushwant Singh Literary Festival London honours Khushwant Singh’s legacy by promoting democracy, tolerance, and compassion. Entirely volunteer-led, it creates space for discussions on gender equality, free expression, and environmental conservation. This year is themed “Humanity Across Borders”, which explores global conflicts, displacement, and climate change, highlighting resilience amid war, the refugee crisis, and equality struggles. By uniting diverse voices, it reinforces that humanity transcends borders, inspiring collective action for a just world.

Bridge India and India Week are delighted to be Partners for the Festival.

Khushwant Singh FKC (born Khushal Singh, 2 February 1915 – 20 March 2014) was an Indian author, lawyer, diplomat, journalist and politician. The Khushwant Singh Literary Festival is a London registered organisation set up exclusively to run KSLF. It is incorporated under the Companies Act 2006. Company Number 11438029.
